Water Outage and Precautionary Boil Water Notice

UPDATE JANUARY 22, 2025 @ 2:00 PM: The Boil Water Notice has ended.
The issue was resolved, adequate disinfection levels were restored, and the drinking water was tested for total coliform bacteriological growth for two consecutive days.
The samples tested absent of total coliform bacteriological growth. The bacteriological survey now shows that the water is safe to drink.
The Town of Pierson is aware of a water outage due to lightning striking the wells. Public Works is currently working to make the necessary repairs and restore water service to the Town. A Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been issued.
